Ruben’s construction journey began in Chicago, where his hands-on experience eventually opened the door to work directly with a multifamily developer on large-scale projects across the Midwest.

Since then, he has helped oversee ground-up developments of 300+ units in Iowa, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky—coordinating trades from site work and masonry to exteriors, drywall, carpentry, finishes, and final turnover.

Today, that experience comes home to RUMi Construction Group, LLC—bringing large-scale construction knowledge and attention to detail to commercial buildouts, home renovations, and refreshers. We serve Oak Brook, Illinois, and communities within 50 miles, with projects ranging from medical offices, urgent cares, clinics, restaurants, retail spaces, vanilla boxes, and business offices to kitchens, bathrooms, exterior improvements, concrete driveways, patios, stairs, and pavers.
